Strength doesn’t come from what you can do; it comes from overcoming the things you thought you couldn’t.

Coach of the Year Winner Charlotte Evans 2016.jpg

Charlotte, based in Exeter and founder and owner of Sole2Soul, is a confident, passionate and ambitious character with a love for holistic health and fitness. After graduating with a BA (Hons) in Mental Health Nursing, she worked as a senior nurse and manager within NHS inpatient and community mental health settings. Her career into the fitness industry came after a decade of nursing, and she qualified as a Level 3 Personal Trainer and Exercise Referral specialist, enabling her to include her passion for exercise into her work of helping others. She has set up and led award winning large scale Sole2Soul exercise projects within NHS Trusts in London and Devon, and worked with UCL and Exeter University delivering innovative wellbeing projects to improve people’s physical and mental wellbeing.

Charlotte's training and experience in using mindfulness and concepts of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) have been an effective way in supporting clients to reach their fitness goals and to remain positive and motivated throughout each step.

After giving birth to her two children in 2019 and 2022, Charlotte has developed a passion for maternal health and wellbeing. She is a qualified pre and post natal personal trainer and has worked on a mother and baby mental health inpatient unit to support mothers’ mental wellbeing through exercise, whilst also supporting their physical recovery from pregnancy and child birth.

Charlotte's approach to health and fitness is simple: to empower others and to make it rewarding and accessible for all. Charlotte is dedicated to delivering the highest quality of evidence-based training in all her work, and is a firm believer that if you don't feel good about yourself it is hard to feel good about anything else.
